Know what pickup includes, what to send for an accurate quote and how scheduling works before you make plans.

Quotes, pricing and pickup times

What is the minimum pickup price?

Eligible curbside, driveway or accessible-garage pickups have an $85 minimum. This is not a flat price for every item. Send photos for the exact total in writing before booking.

Does Get a Quote reserve an appointment?

No. The form sends your photos and details to the crew for review. You approve the written price first, then confirm an available pickup window with the crew. A quote request alone does not reserve a pickup.

What should I include in my quote request?

Include your name, phone number, pickup address, city or ZIP code, an item list and clear photos. Show the whole pile, large items from more than one angle, and the loading path. Mention item condition and any access restrictions that could affect pickup.

Will the quoted price change when the crew arrives?

The written quote covers the items, volume, weight, access and disposal needs shown in your photos and details. When those match, the approved total stays the same. Any change to the agreed scope requires a revised quote that you approve before work begins.

When is the soonest you can pick up?

Pickup is by appointment after you approve the written quote and the crew confirms an available window. Timing depends on your address, job size and route capacity. Same-day pickup may be available, but is not guaranteed.

Service areas and preparing your items

How do I check whether you serve my address?

Search the service-area page by city or ZIP code, then send your full pickup address. Send your pickup address to confirm service and route availability before booking. A listed city or county is not a guarantee of an available pickup time.

Can the crew pick up items inside my home?

No. Dakota Valley does not provide inside-home pickup or carry items through living areas, basements or attics. Items must be safely staged at the curb, in the driveway or in an accessible garage before pickup. Arrange suitable help with staging rather than moving heavy items unsafely.

How should I prepare for pickup?

Stage all approved items safely at the curb, in the driveway or in an accessible garage before the confirmed pickup window. The crew does not enter living areas or carry items out of basements, upstairs rooms or attics. Photograph the staged items and the clear path to legal truck parking.

Do I need to be home during pickup?

You do not have to be home when the crew has confirmed safe access to all approved items at the curb, in the driveway or in an accessible garage. Arrange access in advance; the crew does not enter living areas.

Can you collect items from an estate, attic or basement cleanout?

Yes, approved nonhazardous items can be collected after they are safely staged at the curb, in the driveway or in an accessible garage. The crew does not sort rooms, enter living areas or carry items on stairs. Arrange suitable staging help before the confirmed pickup window.

Accepted items and special projects

What items can I request for removal?

You can request furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, scrap metal, yard debris and general household items. Send photos and details so the crew can confirm acceptance and the full price for your items.

What items are not accepted?

Hazardous waste, medical waste, asbestos, biological waste and explosives are not accepted. If you are unsure about an item, describe it and send a photo before arranging pickup.

Do you recycle or donate items?

Usable furniture and household goods are routed for donation when practical, and recyclable material is sent to appropriate facilities. Routing depends on item condition, material type and facility acceptance; donation cannot be promised for every item.

How are hot tubs, sheds, fences and rentals priced?

Outdoor specialty projects and rental requests are assessed separately from photos. Acceptance, scope, price and access must be confirmed in writing; the standard pickup minimum is not a project quote. Include photos, dimensions, the pickup address and access details so the crew can assess what is needed.

Have a question about your items?

Send photos and explain what you need removed. The crew can review your specific items, address and access before you approve a price.
